How it works

The Tilt'n Chip uses a digital tilt signal to trigger the left or right direction on the control pad. Its flexible design was intended for easy installation and high compatibility. Essentially all console controllers and handhelds are supported, with a very simple, very quick installation that involves soldering only 4 to 6 wires. An optional On/Off switch is included to toggle the tilt control on and off, as well as a mini spool of wire for installation. The Tilt'n Chip is an easy-to-use and simple interface that can really put a spin on your gaming, literally!

Installation Tips

  1. The arrow on the chip must point in the direction of gravity for best performance. Install the chip as straight as possible.
  2. Insulate the chip from the controller or system by using electrical tape, this will avoid any possible shorts in your installation.
  3. Bridge any necessary leads on the chip as indicated by the diagram. This can be done by simply soldering over and connecting the contacts.
  4. When choosing a spot for your on/off switch, make sure it will fit properly, prior to making any incisions in your controller or system.
