The GameGear-TV Blast I is a small easy-to-install chip that let's you play your old GameGear system on any TV with an RCA video jack! Based on the design by Xavier, the GG-TV Blast I features a high-precision resistor network circuit that has been finely tuned to display the highest clarity and detailed monochrome image on the TV.

The GG-TV Blast I is only compatible with the newer, Version 2 model of the Sega GameGear.

Checking your GameGear model:

• Insert a cartridge in your GameGear and turn it on. If you get the boot-up screen saying ""Produced by or under license from Sega Enterprises LTD.", then it is a Version 2 console. If the message isn't there, it is a Version 1.

The installation of the chip is straight-forward. The chip comes with 6 pre-soldered wires and a pre-soldered RCA jack ready to be installed. All that is required is installation of the 6 wires and RCA jack inside the GameGear system.
