A front light is finally available for the timeless Neo Geo Pocket Color system. The high demand for this project is what started Mash-Mods two years ago and it has maintained as the most popular modification offered by us ever since.

     How the front light works is that when the console is turned on, the internal front light is initiated and lights up about 95% of the screen, due to the size of the panel. Once on, you have the option with the installed ON/OFF switch or contrast dial to turn off the light, or control its brightness. The front light has a good light intensity and illuminates the screen clearly to be able to play your NGPC in complete darkness or mal-lit areas. To get an idea of what a front lit screen looks like, the same technology is used in the GBA SP. The hardware of the NGPC front light covers about 4% of the bottom of the system’s screen, but this is not an obstacle in most games.

     Mash-Mods offers brand new Neo Geo Pocket Color systems (ask for available colours) with a front light professionally and perfectly installed. You can also choose to send your system to Mash-Mods and have us install a front light in your system at a slightly lower price. Please specify whether you want an ON/OFF switch or contrast dial installed. We have done many front light modifications, so your system is in good hands and installations are done with great expertise.
