In search of a solution for illuminating an entire Neo Geo Pocket Color screen, we have finally found what is now our NEW Front Light Kit 2. Unlike the previous kit we were using, this one is 10% bigger and uses the same quality light that is found in the GameBoy SP. This means that the Neo Geo Pocket Color screen, previously partially covered by the old kit, is now entirely illuminated. Ahh, fantastique!
Although slightly more expensive than the previous kit, it will be used primarily for all front light installations as well as kits. Moreover, we have recently developed a dimmer chip to replace contrast dials and on/off switches. The dimmer chip is compatible with the NGPC and GBC only!

The front light kit does a great job of illuminating the screen for night-time game play and eliminates the need for an external lighting solution. The kit has been tested with the many consoles including GameBoy original, GBC, GBA, NGPC, SwanCrystal and WonderSwan Color. We also have available updated installation instructions for the three most popular picks, the NGPC, SC and GBC, listed below.
If you do not feel comfortable installing the kit on your own, we still offer our very experienced front light installation service. However, we encourage YOU to embark on your own modding project!
